Inspired by a show from the UK called “Portrait Artist of the Year” Nazo asked some friends to send him a silly faced selfie he could reference. These 4 hour acrylic painting studies are a way to study the face and be a little loose with his brushwork, stopping as soon as his timer ends finished or not. These pieces are meant to fall somewhere between illustrative and realistic with the goal to capture an essence of the person.

Painted on 9”x12” exhibition canvas and finished with a Semi Gloss Protective coat.
